Important upcoming events at Iroquois Jr./Sr. High School: 7th Grade Orientation and New 8th Grade student Orientation will be held on August 16th from 9-10am in the high school auditorium. A postcard will be mailed home regarding this event at the end of July. Technology Roll Out Day- Students will be able to pick up their chromebook, charger, and yearbook (if previously ordered) on August 21st from 9am-6pm. More information will be coming about this event! Homecoming Bonfire- Wednesday, September 27th from 6-7:30pm Homecoming Assembly- Friday, September 29th at 2pm. If you think your child may have had these vaccines already you may want to check with your doctor's office to make sure. Students who do not have required vaccinations listed below will be excluded from school until the school receives proof of the vaccines from the doctor's office. The doctor's office may fax to 814-897-2410, attention school nurse. Please try and schedule a visit ASAP as appointments book quickly and there is usually a waiting period. Reminder letters have also been sent to all families. 7th grade needs MCV-Meningococcal vaccine and Tdap-Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis-these are a requirement for the first day of school for all 7th graders 12th grade needs a second dose of MCV(Meningococcal vaccine)-this is a requirement for the first day of school for all 12th graders

The IHS Cheerleaders will be having a Community Carnival on July 4th at Iroquois Elementary School. This will begin at the conclusion of the parade and go until the fireworks. Please see attached flyer.

I.H.S. Senior Tickets. will be passed out on the first day of graduation practice - June 5th with Caps/Gowns. Each student will receive 10 total tickets. All 10 can be used at the outside ceremony. If the weather forces us inside, only four tickets can be used per student.

On May 11th, Mrs. Bell took 6 of our students to Penn State Behrend's 28th Annual Math Options Career Day. The Math Options Career Day is designed to encourage students to pursue careers in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields. The program introduces hands-on interactive workshops that demonstrate careers and educational opportunities.

On behalf of Iroquois National Honor Society, officers presented a monetary donation of $400 to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Members raised money this year through their book fair and a pancake breakfast.
