JR HIGH PUMPKINS - On Friday, Oct 24th during Activity Period, the teachers and some junior high students got into the Halloween Spirit by carving pumpkins. On student exclaimed with a big smile on his face " I haven’t carved a pumpkin in like 6 years!”

What an amazing turn out at tonight's bonfire. It was definitely a great night to be a brave. Don't forget to come out and support our team tomorrow night when we play against Harbor Creek at the battle of the bridge.


LEADER IN ME ATTENDANCE GOAL!!! - We received another "A" for attendance with 93% of the students being present today. Way to Go BRAVES!!!

PICTURE RETAKES - Just a reminder that there will be picture retakes on Friday, October 25th. At this time, clubs and activities will also be getting pictures for the yearbook.

Our boys’ soccer team will face Seneca in the District 10 1A Semifinals at Fort LeBoeuf tomorrow at 7:30 PM. The team departs from the High School tomorrow at 5:30 PM. If you’re attending the bonfire at the high school at 6 PM, consider stopping by early to wish them good luck as they board the bus. We hope to see you at the game. GO BRAVES!

The Autistic Support Club’s Coffee Cup and Water Bottle fundraiser is live! Both cups are 20 oz skinny stainless steel with a fun Iroquois-themed design. They are $20 each. Todays Girls Basketball game has been moved back to 5:15 this evening. The bus will depart at 3:50 from the HS.

HALLOWEEN - Students will be permitted to wear a costume on Thursday, October 31st. All costumes must meet the dress code. No exposed midriffs, no clothing that is above mid-thigh, no bare feet, no excessive cleavage, & no alcohol, drug, or tobacco related costumes. Also, no replica firearms or weapons are permitted. Student faces can not be covered. Students who do not comply with the guidelines or are wearing something deemed offensive will be required to change.

District 10 Playoff Ticket Information: All tickets for the match will be sold online through Hometown Ticketing. The admission price is $8.00 and tickets can be purchased by going to the website (https://www.piaadistrict10.org/d10-tickets) and searching for the match in the list provided.

Monday , October, 14th - We had a total of 38 staff trained by NAMI to become a Youth Mental Health First Aid responder during our Regional Inservice. Studies of Youth MHFA have found that individuals trained in the program show increased mental health literacy and confidence to help a young person in distress. We are thankful for these caring teachers.


Junior High Football scheduled for Thursday, October 17th will be played at 5:30 pm @ Lakeview High School.

Due to a transportation issue the Girls Basketball game at Cambridge Springs on Thursday 10/17 has been moved to 10/24.

“On Wednesday, October 16th all juniors will be taking the Digital PSAT exam on their school issued chromebook at 7:48 AM, unless they have been approved to opt out of the exam by administration.
Juniors, please bring your school issued chromebook (FULLY charged) and school issued graphing calculator on test day.
You will be reporting directly to your testing room locations on Oct. 16th (DO NOT go to first period.)
Testing will begin immediately following announcements.
Juniors will resume their normal schedules following 4th period.”
