
October 31st (Halloween). Students are permitted to dress up in a costume for Halloween as long as the following conditions are met.
1. School Appropriate
2. No weapons replica or otherwise
3. Nothing discriminatory
4. The student in costume must fit in a desk
5. No full-face coverings or masks
6. Nothing that distracts from the education of others

The Iroquois Boys’ Soccer Team will advance to Round 2 of the District 10 Single A playoffs after a thrilling 2-1 win in OT. Goals were scored by Hunter Chew and Dakota Longo.

Congratulation to our Iroquois Boys Soccer team on making the playoffs! We will play Tuesday October 25th @ 6PM at Meadville High School. We will be the home team vs Sharpsville. Tickets are available online only through the Hometown Ticketing APP.

Parent teacher conferences for junior high students will be held on November 1, 2023 from 10 am – 6 pm. Junior high students will not attend school on that day. Due to limited time, teachers will contact parents to schedule a conference only if they have concerns regarding a student. If any parent feels the need to meet with their student’s educational team, please contact their teacher by email in advance or contact the office at 814-899-7643.

In addition to homecoming, PYD is hosting our 6th annual Dare to Scare Zombie Run this Saturday, October 22.
This fun event helps raise awareness to SCARE drugs out of our community. Please consider dressing up like a Zombie to either participate in this fun 1 mile loop through Elbow Tree Park, or volunteer in another capacity! Registrations starts at 10:00 am at Iroquois Elementary School with the 1 mile walk/run beginning at 11:00 am! Registration forms for participation are available in the front office of each building.

This is Homecoming Week! There is a bonfire on Thursday night at 6pm at the high school. All are welcome to attend! We will have our homecoming assembly on Friday, October 21st at 2pm to recognize our homecoming court. The homecoming parade is on Friday at 5pm and the homecoming king and queen will be announced at halftime of the football game. Lastly, our homecoming dance is Saturday, October 22nd at 7pm at the high school.
