“On Wednesday, October 16th all juniors will be taking the Digital PSAT exam on their school issued chromebook at 7:48 AM, unless they have been approved to opt out of the exam by administration.
Juniors, please bring your school issued chromebook (FULLY charged) and school issued graphing calculator on test day.
You will be reporting directly to your testing room locations on Oct. 16th (DO NOT go to first period.)
Testing will begin immediately following announcements.
Juniors will resume their normal schedules following 4th period.”

LEADER IN ME IS COMING!!! The staff at I.H.S. has been preparing this program for our students over the past year. Starting next week, students in all grade levels will be introduced to this The Leader In Me program. There will be a weekly meeting discussing topics like good habits, leadership, and decision making. The junior high basketball game scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed. An updated date will be available soon. The team will practice at the high school after school tomorrow.
Volleyball has been moved to Strong Vincent Middle School on Monday vs Erie High. That venue is at 1330 west 8th street. Seating can be limited so plan to arrive early. JV at 6, Varsity to follow.

Students in Mr. Sovisky’s Psychology class started learning about how the brain works. Students were able to get some hands-on learning done by creating neurons and identifying the functions of each part of their candy neuron.
There is no better way to start off the week, than our seniors showing how much spirit they have!! They are true BRAVES!!
