Everyone 16 years of age or older is now eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination. Information regarding these vaccines is located on CDC and Department of Health websites. I have included the link below to the CDC which includes information and a vaccine finder to help you locate vaccine sites near you. · The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is recommended for people aged 16 years and older. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/How-Do-I-Get-a-COVID-19-Vaccine.html Sites included on the vaccine finder include: Rite Aid - Walgreens Giant Eagle - Walmart CVS - UPMC St. Vincent/AHN - Community Health Network A clinic will also be held at the Bayfront Convention Center on Monday May, 3rd from 1pm-8pm. They will be using the Pfizer vaccine which is approved for ages 16 and older. And would ask that a parent/guardian be present to countersign consent. Appointments can be made by calling 1-866-LECOM19 or going to lecom.eventbrite.com. Any family members of the children or anyone you know 16 years of age and older is also welcome to sign up!
