8th Grade Elite Brave: Makenzie Buck
What do you love about Iroquois? I love the staff, students, and faculty, I love the classrooms and the time we get to learn and spend time with friends.
What are your future aspirations? I want to go to Mercyhurst college, and work in the FBI/BAU, I want to live close to family, and I want to go to Italy. What teacher has made the most impact on you and why? The teacher that has made the most impact on me is either Mrs. Glennon or Mrs. Kidd. They have been there for me since I got to Iroquois, and they’ve treated me like their own. They have made a huge impact on my life with the bad days I had when I thought I wasn’t good at school. They have talked through troubles. Mrs. Glennon is overall just a great teacher and made me love science since I’ve gotten to Iroquois.
Congratulations to our November Elite Braves! Elite Braves demonstrate excellent behavior in and out of the classroom, are well mannered, and respectful to both peers and teachers. These students have been selected by teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors for being exemplary.

IHS Art Class Activities!!!
The photo of the kids in the plaster masks are from this year's Sculpture class. They are using plaster gauze to create their own personalized mask inspired by masks from different cultures.
The photo of the girls decorating the store fronts were for the community- based art project.
The last photo is from the Edinboro Art Day. Students got to meet current art students on campus and watch demonstrations and participate. It was a great day!

Come to our Financial Aid Night on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15 AT 5:30 to learn about the different types of aid that are available. Amy Sloan from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will be on hand to answer questions and aid Senior parents in filing the FAFSA for the first time

IHS Teachers getting into the Halloween Spirit. Even some of our senior got into the holiday spirit with the staff.
Parent teacher conferences for junior high students will be held on November 1, 2023 from 10 am – 6 pm. Junior high students will not attend school on that day. Due to limited time, teachers will contact parents to schedule a conference only if they have concerns regarding a student. If any parent feels the need to meet with their student’s educational team, please contact their teacher in advance.
October 31st (Halloween). Students are permitted to dress up in a costume for Halloween as long as the following conditions are met.
1. School Appropriate
2. No weapons replica or otherwise
3. Nothing discriminatory
4. The student in costume must fit in a desk
5. No full-face coverings or masks
6. Nothing that distracts from the education of others

The Iroquois Boys’ Soccer Team will advance to Round 2 of the District 10 Single A playoffs after a thrilling 2-1 win in OT. Goals were scored by Hunter Chew and Dakota Longo.

Congratulation to our Iroquois Boys Soccer team on making the playoffs! We will play Tuesday October 25th @ 6PM at Meadville High School. We will be the home team vs Sharpsville. Tickets are available online only through the Hometown Ticketing APP.
