Technology Roll Out Day- Students will be able to pick up their chromebook, charger, and yearbook (if previously ordered) on August 21st from 9am-6pm. We understand our 2023 graduates may have started their next adventure out of town before that date. Parents of our recent graduates are invited to pick up their ordered yearbook on August 21st. More information will be coming about this event!

7th Grade Orientation and New 8th Grade student Orientation will be held on August 16th from 9-10am in the high school auditorium. New Student Orientation for Senior High will be held on August 16th from 11am-12pm. Parents are welcome to attend, but not required. Parents should expect a postcard about this event to arrive in the next few days. Chromebooks and chargers will be distributed to students at orientation, if they do not have any fines/fees. If your child has an unreturned device or charger from last school year, please return it as soon as possible to the high school office.

Attention ISD Families....The school calendar was revised at our June School Board meeting. Please find attached the Revised 2023-2024 School Calendar. An additional Act 80 Day was added for April 8, 2024. This will be used as a Teacher In-Service Day - NO SCHOOL for students.

Information for the 2023/2024 School Year Parents of 7th graders and 12th graders, it is very important over the summer months that you contact your doctor's office to schedule an appointment for your child to receive the vaccines that are required for each grade level listed below. If you think your child may have had these vaccines already you may want to check with your doctor's office to make sure. Students who do not have required vaccinations listed below will be excluded from school until the school receives proof of the vaccines from the doctor's office. The doctor's office may fax to 814-897-2410, attention school nurse. Please try and schedule a visit ASAP as appointments book quickly and there is usually a waiting period. Reminder letters have also been sent to all families. 7th grade needs MCV-Meningococcal vaccine and Tdap-Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis-these are a requirement for the first day of school for all 7th graders 12th grade needs a second dose of MCV(Meningococcal vaccine)-this is a requirement for the first day of school for all 12th graders

The IHS Cheerleaders will be having a Community Carnival on July 4th at Iroquois Elementary School. This will begin at the conclusion of the parade and go until the fireworks. Please see attached flyer.

Iroquois Alumni, Mr David Vargo, class of '89, stopped by for a tour today. He was a member of our swim team and holds one of the oldest records in our pool. A few of our swimmers had the opportunity to talk to him and share stories about the program.

I.H.S. Senior Tickets. will be passed out on the first day of graduation practice - June 5th with Caps/Gowns. Each student will receive 10 total tickets. All 10 can be used at the outside ceremony. If the weather forces us inside, only four tickets can be used per student.
