From February 2nd through February 7th, students and coalition members of #PYDONEFAMILY traveled to Washington DC for Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America’s (CADCA) 30th National Leadership Forum. This week-long conference provides key trainings in current drug trends and prevention efforts, resources for making positive community-level change, and opportunities to network with coalitions across the country.
In addition, #PYDONEFAMILY participated in “Capitol Hill Day,” which provided the opportunity to meet with key staff members of Congressman Kelly, Senator Toomey, and Senator Casey’s offices while advocating for their continued support of substance abuse prevention programming. Madison Chew served as spokeswoman for the group.
