Students from Mrs. Kidds CHS Development Early Childhood class working in the kindergarten at Iroquois Elementary School. The older students learned to work with students while the younger students worked on reading, letter sounds, and writing out words. "I think this is one of the most rewarding things I have done in my teaching career- my students are so impressive and make me so proud! I love watching how engaged they are with the kindergarten students- I could not have envisioned a better outcome than what I am seeing." - Mrs. Kidd

Mrs. Chrapowicz's 10th Grade Honors ELA classes have teamed up to create something special for the little ones at the Elementary School - a cool children's book! Picture this: a bunch of teenagers getting together to show that love isn't just one thing - it's all sorts of awesome acts. And how are they doing it? With a sprinkle of alliteration and a dash of rhyme, of course! They took their book, L is for Love, to the kindergarteners last week where Miranda Kaiser and Ember Kemp read to the classes. Mrs. Chrapowicz's crew isn't just reading and studying books; they're making books to share their love of reading with the kids at the Elementary school!

At the high school, there were almost 50 students who had perfect attendance for the first semester, that's amazing!! To reward these students, our attendance monitoring team put together a little social gathering for the students. Last Friday during tutorial, these students got to jam out to some music, play corn hole and slam ball, and enjoy an ice-cream sundae. Way to go Braves!!

During the first semester of the 23-24 school year, there have been over 80 submissions of students having a Heart of A Brave. This is amazing and a true demonstration of all the good things that our students do for others. Every nomination gave that student a chance to win a pair of SoundCore Wireless Earbuds. This semester winners were James Crosby (8) and Alexander Torres (12). Congratulations Braves!!
