ASVAB Testing Information

The ASVAB Career Exploration Program test is limited to students in grades 10, 11, and 12 who receive parent/guardian permission to take the test.  Taking the ASVAB can help students regardless of future plans after high school.  The ASVAB Career Exploration Program provides career exploration scores, which can help determine a student’s readiness for further education and training in different career areas.  Knowing your child’s academic strengths and weaknesses now, gives them time to work to improve them before they start a job, begin college or vocational school, or enter the military.  To make an informed decision you need facts.  If your child takes the ASVAB, he/she will be provided with the facts that he/she will need to pursue postsecondary goals. This is one of the few FREE aptitude tests that include a career counseling session! The counseling department highly encourages any student in grades 10, 11, or 12 to take this exam.
