SAT Testing Calendar

When registering for SAT’s, make sure you include Iroquois’ school code 391-285.  If you fail to include Iroquois’ school code, your scores will not be included on your high school transcripts!* You must submit a picture of yourself online for your admission ticket.  You should choose four colleges to send your scores to when you register for the SAT.  Failure to do so will result in a $12.00 fee per score report when you choose to send your scores after you test.

Subject test fees for 2017-2018 $26.00 basic subject test fee,
(This covers one test date, on which you can take one, two, or three Subject Tests) $26 language with listening test, $21 all other subject tests (per test).

Test Day Checklist

Must Bring​

     Your Admission Ticket

You must have your Admission ticket on test day. Sign in to
My SAT and click "Print Admission Ticket".

Two No. 2 pencils and a soft eraser

Photo identification (Driver’s License, State ID Card, Iroquois Jr.~Sr. High School ID, or Student ID Form Signed by your school counselor)You must present acceptable photo identification (ID) for admission to the test center. You are responsible for understanding and following the 
SAT Test-Taker Identification Requirements and Policies.

You may be denied entrance to the test center or your scores may be withheld or canceled if you can't present acceptable ID, if the validity of the ID is in question, or if you fail to follow the Identification Requirements and Policies. 

An Acceptable Calculator

Calculators permitted while testing are:
Graphing calculators, Scientific calculators, Four-function calculators (not recommended)

Not permitted as a calculator:
A laptop or a portable/handheld computer, Electronic writing pad or pen-input/stylus-driven device (e.g., Palm, PDAs, Casio ClassPad 300) Note: The Sharp EL-9600 may be used without the stylus, Pocket organizer, Cell phone calculator, Calculator that has QWERTY (keyboard-like) keypad (e.g., TI-92 Plus, Voyage 200), Calculator that uses an electrical outlet, makes noise or has a paper tape

    Note: SAT Subject Tests with Listening require a CD player.

Nice to Have:
A watch (without an audible alarm), Extra batteries and backup equipment, A bag or backpack, A drink or snacks (for your break)

What NOT to Bring

The use of cell phones and certain other electronic devices as noted below is prohibited within SAT test centers, and you should not bring these devices to the test center. See the Cell Phones and Electronic Devices policy for more information Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to:

  • Cell phones
  • BlackBerrys
  • PDAs
  • iPods and iPads
  • MP3 players
  • Laptops, notebooks, tablets or any other personal computing device
  • Pagers
  • Timers of any type
  • Cameras or other photographic equipment
  • Any device capable of recording audio, photographic or video content, or capable of viewing or playing back such content.

  • ACT Plus Writing: $62.50

ACT Test Day Checklist

  • Report to your assigned test center by the Reporting Time (8:00 a.m.) listed on your ticket. You will NOT be admitted to test if you are late. 
  • Bring a printed copy of your ticket to the test center. You will not be admitted to test if you do not have a printed copy of your ticket. 
  • Bring acceptable photo identification. You will not be admitted to test if your ID does not meet ACT’s requirements.
  • Testing staff will check your photo ID and ticket, admit you to your test room, direct you to a seat, and provide test materials.
  • Be ready to begin testing after all examinees present at 8:00 a.m. are checked in and seated.
  • Please note that ACT may visit test centers to conduct enhanced test security procedures including, but not limited to, collecting images of examinees during check-in or other security activities on test day.
  • Do not engage in any prohibited behavior at the test center. If you do, you will be dismissed and your answer document will not be scored. Note: For National and International Testing, you will be asked to sign a statement on the front cover of your test booklet agreeing to this policy.
  • Once you break the seal on your test booklet, you cannot later request a Test Date Change, even if you do not complete all your tests.
  • You may use a permitted calculator on the Mathematics Test only. Some models and features are prohibited. You are responsible for knowing if your calculator is permitted and bringing it to the test center.
  • The following rules also apply to using your calculator:
  • If your calculator has characters one inch high or larger, or a raised display, testing staff may seat you where no other examinee can see your calculator.
  • A short break is scheduled after the first two tests. You will not be allowed to use cell phones or any electronic devices during the break, and you may not eat or drink anything in the test room. (If you take the ACT Plus Writing, you will have time before the Writing Test to relax and sharpen your pencils.)
  • Students taking the ACT (No Writing) with standard time are normally dismissed about 12:15 p.m.; students taking the ACT Plus Writing are normally dismissed about 1:00 p.m.
  • If you do not complete all your tests for any reason, tell a member of the testing staff whether or not you want your answer document scored before you leave the test center. If you do not, all tests attempted will be scored.
